Although "Suffer" only has a running time of 26 minutes, the record was "the album that changed everything" in terms of the American punk revival of the nineties. In fact, the band"s third LP in 1988 not only marked Bad Religion"s international breakthrough, it also laid the foundation for the massive success of the Epitaph label, which signed The Offspring, NoFX, Rancid, and Pennywise, the very bands that caused a sensation in the nineties with melodic hardcore, pop-punk, and skate punk.
